WordSpies (the original word game)

The Codenames-style spy game the whole site was named after. Two teams, a 5×5 grid, one-word clues, one assassin word that ends everything. 4-10+ players from any device. Full rules here.

Who is the Spy?

A conversation game for 4+ players. Everyone gets a word except the spy, who has to blend in without knowing what everyone else is describing. Perfect for a party or a warm-up before a language-exchange session — the deception is the fun.

Ludo

The classic board race — roll, move around the board, send other players' pieces back to start. 2-4 players, plays in about 15 minutes. Great for hanging out with friends without needing intense concentration.

8-Ball Pool

Real physics, 8-ball rules, one shared table. Play a friend with a link or take on the bot. The satisfying click when you sink the black ball is universal.

Connect 4

Drop pieces, make four in a row, block theirs. Thirty-second rounds, quick and addictive. Good filler between longer games.

Mind Meld

Two players type a word at the same time trying to say the SAME word. Miss? Both those words become the new prompt. Aim for a match. Sounds simple, is oddly beautiful, and only takes a minute.

How the games fit the community

Games are the low-pressure entry point. New members hop into a room, chat while playing, and by the third round they're comfortable enough to start a real conversation. The whole shelf is one tap from the Community tab, and you can invite anyone on your wall to a game with a single button on their profile.
